Very sad - was a nice looking building. This is near the top of the building and there is signs of the top being displaced horizontally.

There is still a strong effect from the July 11, 2011 Volcanic erruption (Puyehue) in Chile. Ash made it over to New Zealand causing very strong colours at sunset. The colours have not been artificially changed and its not a mash up.

Time stopped on the Christchurch central railway station when the earthquake struck at 4:35am. Yeah Ok the clock was a running a little slow.

There was a risk of rocks falling off cliffs behind Redcliffs school following Sept 4th earthquake.
A helicopter was used to wash off loose rocks to lower the risk to the school.

Can't believe how much of this rock fell off! Its looks totally different - no longer a castle. Sad but very glad that the huge rock did not hit anything on the way down!
