A photograph of Donna Allfrey's dog Niko, sitting on the front porch of her house on Oxford Terrace. The photographer comments, "Niko found Doug Sexton, Allfrey's neighbour, after the 22 February 2011 earthquake. Sexton had a heart attack during the earthquake and could not leave his damaged house".

Two years after the earthquakes, the living conditions of many in the 'red zones' of Christchurch was poor, owing to local body, government and insurance companies' tardiness. Volunteers photographed with one of Gap Filler's painted pianos. The piano has been set up at the demolished site of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. In the background, Gap Filler's Pallet Pavilion can be seen. The back of the piano has been covered by plastic sheeting with a picture of a dog. A wooden structure has also been built around the piano with Perspex and corrugated iron on top and plastic sheeting to the left and right. This is to protect the piano and pianist from wind and rain.
