Damage to River Road in Richmond. The road surface is badly cracked and slumped, and liquefaction silt covers part of the road. The photographer comments, "Liquefaction in River Rd. This is minor compared to many streets in town".

The tip of the gable on the Durham Street Methodist Church. The stone work has cracked and is leaning forward. Bracing can be seen at the back, holding the stonework in place.

Damage to the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. The south-west corner of the building has collapsed, exposing the rooms inside, and the north-west corner is supported by shipping containers.
