
A concrete slab blocking access to the Medway Street footbridge. The footbridge was badly warped in the 4 September 2010 earthquake. Someone has spray painted graffiti on the concrete block. Behind the concrete is a section of safety fence further blocking access.

The installation, titled Eye of the Storm/em>, was created for Canterbury Tales by students from the School of Design at the University of Technology Sydney. Canterbury Tales was a carnivalesque procession and the main event of FESTA 2013.

The Williams Street Bridge in Kaiapoi. This part of the footpath was damaged when the concrete abutment rose during the earthquake, forcing its way through the pavement and into the open. Fencing has been placed around this section of the bridge until work can be done to make it safe to walk on.
