A photograph of the earthquake damage to Stonehurst Accommodation on Gloucester Street. The bottom storey of the closest building has collapsed and the top two storeys are sitting on a pile of rubble. More rubble has also spilled into the driveway to the right. Wire fencing has been placed around the buildings as a cordon.

A photograph of a car on Gloucester Street which has been crushed by falling bricks from the Canterbury Times and Star building. There is a pile of bricks on the front of the car. A USAR team have spray-painted codes on a plywood board and wedged it into the back of the car.

A photograph of a block of damaged shops on the corner of Gloucester Street and Woodham Road. The top of the façade has crumbled. The bricks have fallen to the ground and taken the awnings with them. Wire fencing has been placed around the buildings as a cordon. Signs on the fences indicated that the T Bakery and Red Chilli are open.

The map is of the block bordered by Barbadoes Street, Worcester Street, Gloucester Street, and Fitzgerald Avenue. Many of the buildings have been highlighted in blue, with some smaller buildings highlighted in orange. Numbers and messages have been written on the map with biro.

A photograph of the entrance to the Brannigan's building on the corner of Gloucester Street and Oxford Terrace. Many of the windows down the centre of the building have broken, and the glass has fallen onto the footpath below. USAR codes have been spray painted on one of the front windows. A red sticker in the door indicates that the building is unsafe to enter.
