The Cranmer Centre in Armagh Street with damage to the top archways on the roof. Wooden bracing has been placed on the archways and tarpaulins to prevent weather damage to the inside of the building.

The damaged Cranmer Centre on the corner of Montreal and Armagh Streets shortly after the 22 February 2011 earthquake. The east wall of the building has crumbled onto the street and a man in a hard hat and high-visibility vest is directing people around it. There is scaffolding on the south side of the building from repair works after the 4 September 2010 earthquake. The gable in the background has also collapsed.

The Croydon House Bed and Breakfast Hotel on Armagh Street. The east wall has collapsed, exposing the building's interior and spilling masonry into the car park. The car park has been cordoned off by yellow tape which reads, "Please keep out".

The bare patch of earth in front s the demolition sites of the Allan McLean building, the Oxford on Avon, and Plunket House. The contract to demolish the Crowne Plaza Hotel has been let, while the fate of the Town Hall is still undecided. The Convention Centre is coming down. On the very bottom, slightly to the right is the Medlab building which is also to be demolished. In the bottom left corner is the PWC building which is also to be demolished".
