The photographer comments, "This building was damaged in the September earthquake in Christchurch. It was the Bone dude's bone carving studio. The motto on the wall was 'Carve your own' and it looks like the earthquakes did just that".

The wheelbarrows have been returned by students after a day of clearing liquefaction from Christchurch properties. Behind them the UCSA's "Big Top" tent can be seen, which was erected to provide support for students at the University of Canterbury in the aftermath of the 22 February 2011 earthquake.

Members of the Wellington Emergency Management Office team were presented certificates of appreciation during this event. A video of an interview with Doreen Tomlin, mother of Shane Tomlin, about the Coroner's Inquest into the 22 February 2011 earthquake. Shane Tomlin became the face of the earthquake when a photographer captured an image of his dust-covered face as he was pulled from the Trocadero Bakery in Cashel Mall. Tomlin's family did not discover that he had died until four days later.
