A video of an interview with Kim Evans, manager of the Shirley Bakery, about the flooding of her store. Evans describes the flood damage as being worse than the damage caused by the 2010 and 2011 Canterbury earthquakes.
A building on Lichfield Street with damage to the top storey facade and roof. Fabric has been strapped to the roof and windows have been boarded up to prevent weather damage to the inside of building. Fencing has been placed around the exterior of the building.

Damage to the Westende Jewellers building. The upper storey facade has collapsed, and rubble covers the road. The area has been cordoned off with road cones and police tape, and fire service personnel are inspecting the damage from the basket of a fire engine's ladder.
The damaged Ozone Hotel has had its window frames removed, and the interior has been gutted. The photographer comments, "The Ozone was badly damaged in Christchurch's February earthquake, but at considerable risk someone has removed the windows and door".
