Aftermath of September 4th Earthquake in Christchurch, NZ. Footbridge over Avon river
A crack between the river bank and the footpath near the Williams Street Bridge in Kaiapoi. This crack has now largely been filled in. The visible gap shows how much the land slipped towards the river during the earthquake.
A sign and basket of flowers for the River of Flowers event held in Riccarton Bush, commemorating the second anniversary of the 22 February earthquake. The sign reads "In memory of those we lost, Feb 22nd 2011, River of Flowers".
