A red sticker on the door of a damaged building in North New Brighton. The photographer comments, "A year after the earthquake in Christchurch a lot of buildings outside of the CBD are covered in cracks and beyond repair. These will slowly be demolished, but until then the buildings will be protected by a movable barrier and a red sticker".

The photographer comments, "Red Carded - A red-coloured card shown by a referee to a player, especially in soccer, to indicate that the player is being ejected from the pitch. The Christchurch Art Gallery has left the building. All the current and future exhibitions of the Art Gallery are being mainly held out of doors".

A couple of Christchurch men are collecting letterboxes from the city's red-zoned suburbs, to create sculptures to tell the stories of the homes which have been demolished since the February 2011 earthquake. One of the men is Evan Smith - who co-chairs a group called the Avon-Otakaro Network. It's working toward creating a riverside park along the Avon, where the houses once stood.
