Building Record Form for the former City Council Civic Offices, 194 - 196 Manchester Street
Damage to the Westende Jewellers building. The upper storey facade has collapsed, and rubble covers the road. The area has been cordoned off with road cones and police tape, and fire service personnel are inspecting the damage from the basket of a fire engine's ladder.
The building which formerly housed the Coffee Club on High Street, standing alone after surrounding buildings have been demolished.

Proclamations from the "Prophet of Canterbury" hanging on the cordon fence near the Cathedral call for the cordons to be torn down. A walkway from Gloucester Street to the Square was opened up for a few days to allow the public a closer look at the Cathedral.
