Christopher Cole, a resident from one of Christchurch's eastern suburbs, collecting a chemical toilet from the Army. Christopher Cole's suburb has been without water and power for over ten days.
A member of the Lyttelton community who was given a felt heart. The felt hearts were a healing outlet during the Canterbury earthquakes. The goal was to create beauty in the midst of chaos, to keep people's hands busy and their minds off the terrifying reality of the earthquakes, as well as to give a gift of love to workers and businesses who helped improve life in Lyttelton.

The two storey Ozone Cafe, which was a hotel, will be given it's coup de grace on Friday. They were gutted in a spectacular fire in 1922, but were unable to be saved after the Christchurch earthquake on 22 February 2011".
