There was a risk of rocks falling off cliffs behind Redcliffs school following Sept 4th earthquake. A helicopter was used to wash off loose rocks to lower the risk to the school.
Churchill Tavern in Sydenham has extensive damage.

Very sad - was a nice looking building. This is near the top of the building and there is signs of the top being displaced horizontally.

A view after the 7.1 magnitude earthquake in Christchurch. Montreal Street north. So sad to see history die - both buildings and business. Given a bit of a HDR process to add some of what I was "feeling" at the time.

Will be opening asap when suitable site located. Mail orders still taken. and farmers markets a possibility. But later demolished along with the adjacent building.
