Pre-February Earthquake
Taken several days after the 6.3 magnatude quake hit Christchurch 22 February 2011. Processed in HDR to capture some of the "feeling" when thinking about the loss of lives when the quake hit.
Badly damaged in both the September and February quakes and over 6000 aftershocks the Point Pleasant yacht club had started to sink into the Avon estuary before being demolished in July 2011 after the June 6.3 earthquake

Light-Relief - With no power after the 6.3 magnatude quake hit Christchurch (22 February 2011) the neighbour's freezer thawed out along with their Deep South Ice Cream - so Tiggles the Kunekune Piglet thinks the spoils of the power-cut are yummy!
