Tree stumps and wood chips from trees that were removed from the South Brighton pine forest. The photographer comments, "A Sunday afternoon ride to New Brighton, then back via Aranui, Wainoni, Dallington, and Richmond. Not a cheerful experience. South Brighton pine forest - gone! The pines had become poisoned by the rising saline water table, so they've all had to come out".

An interior view of the Cranmer Court building's octagonal corner section, which housed Plato Creative from March 2008 to November 2009. The photograph showcases the building's high windows and intricate wooden ceiling. Although designed as a book depot, this room was used as the principal's office while Christchurch Normal School was operating from the building. A table with chairs set around it can be seen in the lower part of the photograph.

A video about C1 Espresso's pneumatic tube food delivery system. The video includes an interview with café owner Sam Crofskey about his decision to install the pneumatic tubes. It also includes an interview with chef Richie Ward, who demonstrates how the tubes work. Mini burgers will be stacked inside tubes and then placed in the pneumatic system. The tube will then be sent through the café at 140 km/h to appear at people's tables.

A wreath from the Singapore Contingent lying on a table in the memorial tent at the Botanic Gardens. The tent was set up for people who wanted to make a tribute to those who lost their lives during the Canterbury earthquakes. A note on the wreath reads, "The Singapore Contingent wishes to express our deepest sympathies and condolences to the people of Christchurch, New Zealand and all who have lost their lives during the 22nd February 2011 earthquake. Our hearts and thoughts are with you. From the men and women of the Singapore Contingent assisting with rescue and relief efforts in Christchurch".
