To the right there is a block of earthquake-damaged buildings and more building rubble to be cleared.

A photograph of a block of earthquake-damaged rooms at Stonehurst Accommodation on Gloucester Street. The bottom storey of the block has collapsed and the remaining rooms are now resting on an incline. The front walls of these rooms have also collapsed and the rubble has spilled in to the courtyard in front. Cordon tape has been draped across the courtyard in front of the rubble. To the left there is a car parked amongst the rubble.

A photograph of the rubble of the Observatory tower in the South Quad of the Christchurch Arts Centre. The tower collapsed during the 22 February 2011 earthquake. A digger was used to clear the rubble away from the building. In the foreground is Chris Whitty, Site Manager of the Christchurch Arts Centre.

A photograph of the earthquake damage to a block of buildings on Lichfield Street. The top floor of the middle building has collapsed and the rubble has spilled onto the street. A large section of the closest building has also collapsed. Most of the rubble has since been cleared from the footpath.
