Plastic barriers and fencing around a demolition site at the corner of Cranford and Westminster Streets. Different types of building rubble have been sorted into piles, and a concrete block still remains on-site.
Tents set up in the Arts car park at the University of Canterbury after the 22 February 2011 earthquake. The tents were used as temporary lecture rooms while the buildings were being checked for damage.
A front entrance of the badly-damaged Oxford Terrace Baptist Church. The roof of the building has crumbled onto the footpath below. Damaged brickwork is still visible above. Steel bracing has been placed against the wall to keep it upright.

A view down Armagh Street where a cordon checkpoint has been set up and guarded by the Army. On the road side are rubbish bins and road cones to divert the traffic. Part of the Canterbury Provincial Council Buildings can be seen.
A video of a bike race on Gloucester Street with Roger Sutton and staff of The Press. The bike race was held to mark the opening of the new Press Building on Gloucester Street.
Structural damage to St Elmo Courts with diagonal cracks between the windows of the building. These cracks show that there has been rocking of the masonry piers which means there is no vertical reinforcement provided in the walls.

The former Canterbury Horse Bazaar building on Lichfield Street. One brick gable has collapsed, and there is cracking through the brickwork. A spray-painted warning on the wall below the remaining gable reads, "Danger, look up".

The project report for Knit Happens, part of Gap Filler project 20, Walls. Knit Happens was a mural with a pattern reminiscent of a jersey. It was painted on the exposed wall of a brick building on Madras Street.
