Damage to the Community of the Sacred Name building on Barbadoes Street. The gable ends of the building have collapsed, and bricks have fallen to the footpath below. The building is surrounded by security fencing. The photographer comments, "A bike ride around the CBD. Nunnery, Barbadoes St".

A building on Lichfield Street with damage to the top storey facade and roof. Covers have been strapped to the roof and windows have been boarded up to prevent weather damage to the inside of building. Fencing has been placed around the exterior of the building.
Detail of spray painted codes left after a building had been cleared by a USAR team. This system was used following the February earthquake to mark buildings that have been checked. This building has also been red-stickered, and has a notice that says "Danger. Do Not Enter".
