The photographer comments, "Although Cranmer Courts are in ruins pictures have been inserted into the windows to make them look more 'normal'".

Polson's decorators and sign writers.' The building that was adjacent to this one was demolished after the Christchurch earthquake and revealed this fabulous old wall sign.

A memorial poster made to commemorate Natasha Sarah Hadfield, who died at the site where the Wicks Fish business was located. Portaloos on the Pine Mound, part of Festival of Flowers. Each portaloo was decorated with various floral features. This one has been decorated in Canterbury colours, red and black. A stuffed figurine is dressed as a Crusaders rugby player. At the entrance of the portaloo is a sign that says 'Please don't touch or enter the Port-a-loos!'.

The photographer comments, "This was taken shortly after the 4th September earthquake. Police allowed us free access past the cordon and simply advised us to watch out for falling masonry. The access situation was much different after the February aftershock".

The photographer comments, "Breezes Road and Anzac Drive have recently opened but are now home to a brand new range of hills thanks to mountains of silt that have been collected by the hard working construction guys that have done a sterling job on the road there".

The photographer comments, "Today I took a drive around the residential area between Bexley and New Brighton. It was a stark reminder to be thankful for the situation we're in and perhaps not complain too much that our garden wall hasn't yet been rebuilt".
