Roading machinery parked on the side of River Road. The road is under repair, but has not yet been resealed. The photographer comments, "Looking east to Banks Ave-Dallington Tce. River Rd nearly ready for re-sealing. Over the next year, the road subsided and was repaired 3 or 4 times".

A sign outside the Croydon House Bed and Breakfast Hotel on Armagh Street reading, "Don't touch this lady without owner's permission". The east side of the building has collapsed, the bricks falling into the neighbouring property. Tape reading, "Restricted area, please keep out" has been placed around the property.

A photograph captioned by BeckerFraserPhotos, "The failed column near the south-east corner of the ground floor of the Hotel Grand Chancellor. This corner of the building slumped 700mm when this column and a nearby sheer wall failed. Scaffolding was erected all around it and then sprayed with concrete to stabilise the building".
