Coroner Gordon Matenga found that failures by the Fire Service and Urban Search and Rescue did not contribute to the deaths of eight students at the CTV site in the aftermath of the 22 February 2011 earthquake. Baxter talks about the importance of acknowledging the families of the deceased, and the changes and improvements that have been made by the New Zealand Fire Service since the collapse of the CTV building.

A film directed by Christchurch East Youth MP Beth Walters, produced and filmed by Lila Gibbens. The film captures the views of more than 50 young people from Aranui High School, Linwood College and Mairehau High School. Students share their answers to the following questions: How do you feel about living in the East? What don't you like about living in the East? What do you want to see more of? What do you like? Do you, as a young person in the East, feel your voice is heard? Would you stay? The film features an original song produced by three Aranui High School students: Cheyenne Thompson (lyrics), Evile Jireh Sisifo Laloata (vocals) and Peni Junior Iva (guitar).
A video about the restoration of the dome of the Isaac Theatre Royal. The video includes an interview with Vanessa Carswell, Associate at Warren and Mahoney, about the dimensions of the dome. Because the dome is not a perfect circle, the dome and the canvas that cover it have to be reinstalled in exactly the same way, and the dimensions have to be measured accurately so that the new steelwork fits correctly. The video also includes an interview with art restorer Carolina Izzo about restoring the canvas covering of the dome. Izzo says that the theatre lights have burnt the edges of the canvas, and some patches have been affected by mould. She also explains the process for cleaning the artwork.
A video of a press conference with Christchurch Mayor Lianne Dalziel and Raf Manji, Chair of the Christchurch City Council Finance Committee, about the KordaMentha report. KordaMentha is an independent auditing firm which specialises in insolvencies and corporate recovery. The report analysed the Christchurch City Council's three year budgeting plan and the financial strategies that lay behind it. Much of this budget dealt with the challenges in Christchurch caused by the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes. Dalziel talks about the cost of mending Christchurch's infrastructure, the Council's insurance settlement, and the need to address the findings in the report. Manji talks about the Council's financial options following the report.

The footage shows damage to the Smith City car park, the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, the CTV Building, the PGC Building, the Durham Street Methodist Church, the Lyttelton Timeball Station, the roads alongside the Avon River, and the ChristChurch Cathedral. It also shows New Zealand Army road blocks outside the hospital, crushed buses on Colombo Street, a Royal New Zealand Navy vessel in Lyttelton Harbour, rock fall on the Summit Road, collapsed cliffs in Sumner and Redcliffs, tents set up in a park, flooding in New Brighton, and liquefaction in QEII Park.

Young explains that Tuam Street will become a west-to-east one-way street, that a new bus exchange will be built on the block bordered by Tuam, Colombo, Manchester, and Lichfield Streets, that a super stop will be added at the hospital and on Manchester Street, and that Kilmore and Salisbury Streets will be turned into two-way streets. She also explains that the speed limit will be dropped to 30 km/h in the area bordered by Rolleston Avenue, St Asaph Street, Madras Street, and Kilmore Street.

Burns is the Senior Lecturer in the Department of General Practice at the University of Western Sydney. The presentation is titled, "Recovery Begins in Preparedness".The abstract for this presentation reads as follows: Involvement of primary care doctors in planning is essential for optimising the health outcomes of communities during and after disasters. However, our experience in Australia has shown that primary care doctors have not been included in a substantial way. This presentation will highlight our experience in the Victorian and New South Wales bushfires and the Sydney Siege. It will stress the crucial need to involve primary care doctors in planning at national, state, and local levels, and how we are working to implement this.

The limousine was provided by Christchurch Limousines, staffed people from All Right? and Lana and Caitlin from More FM. Inside, the limousine was stocked with All Right? flags and balloons. Passengers were treated to croissants and encouraged to discuss their wellbeing. The event and video was the second of All Right?'s 'Outrageous Bursts of All Right', occurring in early October 2013. The presentation is titled, "Investing in Connectedness: Building social capital to save lives and aid recovery".The abstract for this presentation reads as follows: Traditionally experts have developed plans to prepare communities for disasters. This presentation discusses the importance of relationship-building and social capital in building resilient communities that are both 'prepared' to respond to disaster events, and 'enabled' to lead their own recovery. As a member of the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority's Community Resilience Team, I will present the work I undertook to catalyse community recovery. I will draw from case studies of initiatives that have built community connectedness, community capacity, and provided new opportunities for social cohesion and neighbourhood planning. I will compare three case studies that highlight how social capital can aid recovery. Investment in relationships is crucial to aid preparedness and recovery.

Participants included both Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority employees, people from within a range of regional and national agencies, and community and public sector organisations who worked with Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority over time. The presentation will outline the origin and design of the project, and present some key findings.
