A corner of the Cramner Centre with large cracks in its masonry. Several names, probably those of former students, have been written on the building. They are 'Jenny Adams, 63-64', 'Elody Mapp, 1964' and 'Pam Soal, 1963, 1964'.
The empty conservatory of house on Avonside Drive that has been abandoned due to damage from the 4 September 2010 earthquake. The metal frame of the conservatory has bent and sections of glass have broken. Cracks can be seen in the building's foundation.
St Elmo Courts, a NZHPT heritage building on the corner of Hereford and Montreal Streets. The building was severely damaged during the 4 September earthquake, with diagonal cracking between the windows. Scaffolding has been placed around the bottom of the building.

A concrete block wall with a large diagonal crack running through it. The photographer comments, "This wall has fascinated me. It has cracked across in a dead straight diagonal line during one of Christchurch's many earthquakes. How could this have occurred?".
Damage to a house in Richmond. Part of the brick wall has slumped to one side, leaving a visible gap between the wall and a windowframe. Broken wooden framing can be seen in the gap. The photographer comments, "Cracking in the external brickwork".
A view down Worcester Street towards the Regent Theatre building. Tiles have fallen away from the Regent Theatre's red dome. In the foreground the Clarendon Hotel can be seen, with a large crack where the facade has pulled away from the rest of the building.
