Masonry from the building's top storey has collapsed onto the footpath and several of its windows have fallen out. The "I hope Christchurch will..." blackboard on the corner of Tuam and Colombo Streets. Members of the public are invited to fill in the gaps with what they would like to see in the rebuilt city. Messages can be seen, such as, "Bring back cruising" and "Be filled with chocolate!".
