Clean-up in the CBD of Christchurch is well under way after the 6.3 magnitude quake 22 Febraury 2011.
Manchester Street looking south-ish, near the corner of Worcester Street. The is the Trinity Building, which housed a restaurant and live music venue called Octagon Live.
There is some beauty in the desolate and near empty Dallington Red Zone.

Oxford Terrace Baptist Church on the corner of Madras St and Oxford Terrace, and alongside the Central City Fire Station on Kilmore St. The organ pipes have been saved and safely removed into safe keeping by the South Island Organ Company.

Taken as the severity of the situation began to sink in to most of the people wandering around. Police, Fire and other emergency personal showed a fantastic response to how they dealt with the situation they had.
The former Government Life building in Christchurch's Cathedral Square will be demolished. On my walk around the city May 21, 2014 Christchurch New Zealand.

The Subway shop in the High Street Mall has not operated since lunch time on the 22nd February 2011 when the most damaging of Christchurch and Canterbury's earthquakes struck. I assume the building is still to be demolished.
