For the first time in November 2011, Christchurch residents finally had the opportunity to see the earthquake-damaged city centre on the Red Zone bus tours organised by CERA. Looking into Cathedral Square, the Regent Theatre dome can be partially seen.
A CERA information sign on the fence in the Cathedral, placed to provide information to the public about the buildings seen from Cathedral Square. This one says "Regent Theatre: This has been demolished (see bottom left, now vacant site in photograph".

Looking through the cordon fence on Worcester Boulevard towards the Cathedral. Beams propping up Our City are visible on the left, and the dome of the Regent Theatre, removed and placed on the ground to protect it from further damage, is in front of the Cathedral.

Samo Coffee Lounge signs decorate the front of The Loons Circus Theatre Company building on Canterbury Street in Lyttelton. The facade of the building is propped up by a timber frame and concrete blocks. Samo Coffee Lounge was run inside the Loons building by a group of former Lyttelton Coffee Company staff.
