Building ruins on Kilmore Street.
The cartoon shows a camping ground full of tents and caravans and people looking glum as the rain pours down. All except one family who laugh and enjoy themselves in spite of the weather - it is because they are from Christchurch and the weather is of no consequence when they can live for a few days without fear of earthquakes.

The photographer comments, "Although Cranmer Courts are in ruins pictures have been inserted into the windows to make them look occupied".
