This restaurant used to do bookings for large groups only and you all had to pick and wear funny hats from hooks around the walls.

Manchester Street looking south-ish, near the corner of Worcester Street. The is the Trinity Building, which housed a restaurant and live music venue called Octagon Live.
Repairs being carried out on this restaurant (converted from a church) at the Hereford Street / Manchester Street intersection;aftermath of the magnitude 7.1 earthquake that struck Christchurch on Saturday 4 September 2010.
Another city walk around, this time with my brother-in-law from Auckland. Also went to the Quake City exhibition in the city organised by the Canterbury Museum. First fine day for a while.
This bus is used as a chocolate restaurant, and is parked next to the Pallet Pavilion on the site of the old Park Royal Hotel.
