In Memoriam: Those We Lost

Of the many significant items in the University of Canterbury's newly launched Quakestudies research repository, one of the most moving and important is The Press supplement: " In Memoriam: Those We Lost."

 
Published one year after the 22 February 2011 earthquake, this supplement remembers the people who died on that day.
 
Taken together, the faces and biographies of those who were lost offer a deeply poignant record of the full extent of the human tragedy behind that terrible statistic of 185 dead.
